Comment »Ambigram

I’ve been getting into ambigrams recently and discovered they’re really hard to design. Although, a lot of it depends on the chosen word. This is the closest I’ve got to one, although technically speaking its not a true ambigram as the second line should say something, but I still think its pretty cool. Not sure what I’ll use it for?
Comment »The Drum – Hidden Gems
The Drum magazine recently published an article about agencies that are based outside of the main cities. They asked us about the pros and cons of working ‘off the beaten path’.
“In the past The Drum has been criticised for focusing on the creative companies based in the major centres such as Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Glasgow. But what is going on in the creative companies based outside the city centres? The Drum hits the road to discover some of UK marketing’s hidden gems.”
The article can be read on their website if you have registered. Check it out – Hidden Gems Article.
When I get a chance I’ll scan the actual article from the magazine and post it on here.
Comment »OK Go – This Too Shall Pass
This takes the ‘mouse trap’ style video to the extreme. Directed by James Frost, OK Go and Syyn Labs. Produced by Shirley Moyers. The official video for the recorded version of “This Too Shall Pass” off of the album “Of the Blue Colour of the Sky”. The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The “machine” was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs over the course of several months.
