Yi Ngoy ‘Accident’

Yi Ngoy or ‘Accident’, is a new film by Hong Kong director Soi Cheang’s.

The main character Brain, played by Louis Koo, leads a band of unusually analytical hitmen whose modus operandi is taking out targets in apparent accidents. But Brain’s paranoia grows after his wife and one of the band are killed in spectacular accidents.

It looks like some kind of backwards CSI, can’t wait until its available here.

Colin

You might have heard of Colin, a home made zombie flick by Marc Price that cost only £45 to make. I’m not convinced the whole film was made for only £45, I can barley go to the cinema for less than than, never mind make a film. I guess it makes a good headline. Even if it cost less than £1000 it would still be very impressive. I’m interested to know what the £45 was spent on? Anyway, it looks like it might be ok and I’m a big fan of home made stuff so I’ll give it a chance. The film focusses on Colin the zombie rather than the traditional view point of the survivor/victim. It should be in the cinema for Halloween.

These set concepts for the new Alice In Wonderland look amazing. Not so sure about the visuals for the characters, Johnny Depp looks a bit mental, but I guess thats the point. Check out all of the visuals on ComingSoon.net

Inglourious Basterds

This film is pretty old news but I’d completely forgotten about it until I seen a trailer for it last night. I went to see Public Enimies, but when I seen the trailer for Inglorious Bastards I lost interest in John Dillinger. Public Enemies was pretty good, but nothing special, unlike the special feeling I have in my tummy for Inglorious Bastards.

However, the most exciting announcement is I’ve figured out how to make YouTube videos the full size of the blog.

The Machine Girl

I’ve been obsessively recommending this film to everyone for days. Its awesome – terrible plot, terrible acting, terrible dialogue (dubbed version) but amazingly over the top violence and gore!
