The record features Alex Zhang Hungtai (aka Dirty Beaches) and Conor Prendergast of Brave Radar. Dirty Beaches’ A-side is a cover of Johnny Cash’s “The Singer” (also famously covered by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and also features an instrumental titled “Gone to Hell Come Friday” dedicated to the memory of Broadcast‘s Trish Keenan.
The release is limited to 300 copies available from the 7th March. You can buy a copy directly from Soft Power Records.
More photos of the artwork will be added to our site nearer release. Check back soon.Comment »
Welcome to Mollywood is live! We just completed a website for Molly Buchanan, an illustrator who takes inspiration from classic pin-ups, vintage glamour and the grotesque. We’re really pleased with the finished product, it nicely complements Molly’s excellent work.Comment »
We’re happy to say our prices are staying the same this year. Because we don’t add VAT to our design service, our prices won’t be going up in 2011. So we can still offer you the same great value service as last year.

The Drum magazine recently published an article about agencies that are based outside of the main cities. They asked us about the pros and cons of working ‘off the beaten path’.
“In the past The Drum has been criticised for focusing on the creative companies based in the major centres such as Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Glasgow. But what is going on in the creative companies based outside the city centres? The Drum hits the road to discover some of UK marketing’s hidden gems.”
The article can be read on their website if you have registered. Check it out – Hidden Gems Article.
When I get a chance I’ll scan the actual article from the magazine and post it on here.Comment »
